The Gaviota Tourism Group is opening a new chapter in Cuban hospitality with Playa Luxury, a 5-star brand that combines luxury with Caribbean authenticity. Officially presented during Destinos Gaviota 2024 with the opening of the first hotel at Playa Pesquero, Holguín, this concept inaugurates a new era of comfort on the island, where every detail is designed to offer memorable seaside experiences.
Playa Pesquero Hotel – Luxury Section
Holguín is one of my favorite vacation spots. Located in eastern Cuba, it is a true Caribbean treasure, with golden sandy beaches surrounded by lush vegetation. Its coasts offer a vibrant underwater world, ideal for snorkeling, where we discovered a wide variety of tropical fish and colorful corals.
During my stay at Playa Pesquero Hotel, I enjoyed unique hospitality from the moment I arrived at the airport to every service within the resort, feeling completely at home. The experience was enhanced with delicious lobster and high-quality wines, while the Playa Luxury staff, attentive and dedicated, ensured that every detail and moment was unforgettable, reflecting the essence of authentic Cuban hospitality.

In Varadero, one of Cuba’s most iconic destinations, Playa Luxury Varadero opened in August under the management of Gaviota Tourism Group. Facing the sea and surrounded by tropical gardens, this 5-star All-Inclusive resort combines modernity, elegance, and Caribbean authenticity.
Located a few kilometers from Varadero’s center and Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport, the hotel offers rooms and suites with spectacular sea views, an adult pool-lagoon with waterfalls and jacuzzi. The Cigar Bar is ideal for enjoying sunsets, offering the famous Cuban cigars for sale while beverages and other refreshments are complimentary. During my visit, I took a swim in the crystal-clear waters, enhancing the sense of being in a private paradise. Gourmet dining and impeccable service complete the experience, including dishes like grilled lobster with delicious sauces.
