We arrived in Punta Cana after a 4-hour flight with the renowned Canadian airline Air Transat. During the journey, we enjoyed complimentary juices, coffee, or tea, along with a varied menu available for purchase. The airline stood out for its impeccable punctuality and spacious seats designed to provide maximum comfort for the passenger.
Our experience began at the majestic Ocean El Faro Resort – All. From the very first, we were captivated by the spacious reception halls, the high, imposing ceilings, complemented by a refreshing citrus aroma. This modern colonial-style resort is in Uvero Alto, 45 km from Punta Cana, known for its luxurious resorts and casinos. Surrounded by lush nature, the resort offers direct access to a golden sandy beach with waters ideal for lovers of the Atlantic's surf.

The charm of the hotel lies in its impressive architecture, spacious and beautiful rooms, exquisite and varied culinary offerings, diverse pools, and areas dedicated to both families and those seeking tranquility. With a broad boulevard leading to the Plaza, the resort boasts 10 restaurants, 13 bars, an ice cream parlor, a spa, a gym, bowling, a nightclub, Privilege service, and more. The excellent service provided by its staff, who are attentive to every need of the guests, is noteworthy.

Virgilio Acosta, the commercial director of Ocean El Faro, highlighted that the hotel offers 911 rooms, including 618 designed especially for families. There is entertainment for all tastes, from tubular slides in the children's water park to a relaxing ride along the extensive lazy river that meanders through the picturesque grounds of the resort, where herons nest among bushes and plants lining a lovely brook. Hearing their songs is quite an experience.

It is worth noting that the rooms in the Privilege section of the hotel are spacious and comfortable, with colonial-inspired decor that includes a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a furnished terrace. Guests can enjoy views of the gardens, pool, or sea, and even have their own pool. The rooms feature two bathrooms, one on each floor, a jacuzzi, and a sitting area on the second level. The Privilege category offers many other exclusive services. We also visited the standard rooms, which have the same design base as the Privilege rooms but on one floor. Additionally, do not miss the beautiful sunsets at this resort.

The concerts at the piano bar are sublime. The night we were there with my Canadian journalist colleague, Lucien Dubois, we delighted in the music of Dominican pianist Jonathan Figuereo, who revealed that he learned to play the piano self-taught. Figuereo, a true music lover, conveys his passion by playing the keys with great skill. It was beautiful to see my colleague Lucien perform some of his own compositions and to watch these two pianists connect through music, the most universal language.

In summary, it is an ideal place for those seeking an exclusive environment to relax as a couple, have fun with friends, or enjoy with family.
