The International Tourism & Travel Show, presented by YUL, is set to return to the Palais des congrès de Montréal from November 1 to 3 November, 2024. This year’s event promises an inspiring blend of cultural experiences, travel insights, and culinary adventures, making it a must-visit for those with a passion for exploration.

 

A Celebration of Global Destinations

With over 300 exhibitors and 250 destinations represented, this edition showcases the allure of countries like Indonesia (Stand 521), Guadeloupe (Stand 721) , and Martinique (Stand 103) offering Quebecers a chance to dive into the richness of these increasingly popular locales. Peru will be present in Stand No. 300 and visitors will discover cultural treasures, immersive presentations, and endless inspiration for their next adventure.

 

 

A Day Dedicated to Tourism Professionals

Friday, November 1, will be a special day for tourism professionals, with a focus on Indonesia. The reimagined Pro Zone will host innovative conferences, specialized seminars, and engaging activities like a Cuban fiesta at 18h30. This new space aims to be a hub for fruitful interactions and in-depth discoveries, centered around the latest trends and innovations in the tourism industry. Access is free for industry professionals with a business card.  Gwendoline Duval, a renowned travel trade specialist, will coordinate and energize the Pro Zone at the Montreal International Tourism and Travel Show.

Explore, Learn, and Be Inspired at the Travel Inspiration Zone

The Travel Inspiration Zone is designed to transport visitors into the heart of new destinations. Through engaging lectures and visual journeys in the YUL, Odyssey, and Globetrotters conference rooms, attendees can explore travel stories and advice that inspire their next big trip. Sessions led by Voyages Nomades Conferences and Groupe Voyages Québec will dive deep into captivating destinations, offering valuable expertise.

For those looking to immerse themselves in different cultures, the Voyages Traditours conferences will take visitors “To the heart of traditions,” offering insights into more than 55 destinations, including Mexico, Thailand, Japan, and Portugal. These sessions aim to fulfill every traveler's wanderlust, guiding them through the wonders of world travel.

Even lesser-known destinations like Kenya will be in the spotlight, giving guests a unique glimpse into the cultural and natural beauty of regions that pique curiosity and deserve exploration.

The World Cuisine section presented by Marché Adonis with contributions from L'Escouade culinaire, JC Perreault - Meubles et électroménagers, and Signature Kitchen Suite, promises a delicious exploration of world flavors. Highlights include specialties like Brazilian cheese bread, Filipino delights, and sweet treats from El Salvador.

Practical Information and Ticketing

The show is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 1st, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 2nd, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 3rd. Ticket prices are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and students, and $10 for children aged 6 to 12, with free admission for those under 6. Online ticket purchases come with a $3 discount (fees apply). Parking is available at the Palais des congrès and the Quartier International de Montréal.
